An outlaw biker’s day goes from bad to worse when he and the bear attacking him are hit by lightning and killed. Fortunately, another thunderbolt kick-starts the biker’s cold heart. But he’ll never be the same. Whereas he used to resemble Blackbeard the pirate, now he’s more like Santa Claus.

The biker is in Sturgis, South Dakota when he overhears a plot against acquaintance Jake Olson’s family. Jake is in town but the biker can’t find him, and no one answers the phone at Jake’s Montana ranch. The biker can’t go to the authorities. They’d never believe him, would probably put him in jail until it’s too late. So he and his odd little sidekick ride through the night, intent on stopping disaster.

Second stand-alone novel in the series.

I couldn't even get past the third chapter. The first book was good until the cheesy religious ending and this book starts out with this kind of crap. I was looking for a fun novel about bikers and I got some cheesy tripe about damned angels as dogs. Not even with the $1.99.

One Lowly Angel Jake Olson Book 2 edition by Bill Ellingsen Literature Fiction eBooks Reviews

I really enjoyed this book. Boonie Rats introduced me to some of the characters and now the "adventures" are beginning. I loved how the book started and it kept my interest up until the very end. The characters are well thought-out and there were some things that "surprised" me. I think this book would make for a very entertaining movie. Keep the books coming.
Positively stunning. The author actually made it all seem real to me. The villain has more enemies than he knows about, but he's cunning, hard to nail, and has a well thought out plan to take what's dear to Jake while he and the guys are in Sturgis for the motorcycle rally. A couple of red herrings threw me off, but one turned out to have relevance (a nice trick). I like it even better than Ellingsen's first because it's more intense, more suspenseful, plus it has a wider variety of colorful characters that converge at just the right time.
A strange story and not that good. A too far fetched storyline. And having read the previous book far too repetitive
It is the third book in the series. So make sure you read the first three or you won't enjoy it.
another step away from reality experience, this chap outa keep writing this series could go on for another few books.
All of the books in this series provide and excellent way to relax and enjoy some good light reading. I definitely recommend it.
